Teresita Shockency - Medical Billing Specialist
Teresita (Rina) graduated from college in the Philippines with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Sunmed, she brings 12 years of experience in medical billing. Starting as a Payment Poster and Accounts Receivable Specialist, she worked her way up to become the Posting and Accounts Receivable Manager for a billing firm based in Torrance, California.
An avid sports enthusiast, she played volleyball throughout her school years. She now found a new passion in the fast-growing world of pickleball. Outside of sports, she is drawn to the outdoors, with a particular passion for hiking and exploring National Parks. Above all, she cherishes her children and spends traveling, going on cruises and doing fun activities with them.
